Enjoying monkeys (Langurs) at Fort Ranthambore

We arrived with our guide Shashank. This tree was filled with monkeys coming and going. Note the mom with twins in the tree – one was a live wire – hope you enjoy the video as much as Janyce did filming it!

The fort is not to be missed – it is approximately 1000 years old (give or take a couple of hundred). It has hindu temples, a Jain temple and a mosque and as above lots of Langurs

Who could stop oneself from buying dried chick peas to feed these wonderful creatures.

Below the fort is the Jogi Mahal a hunting lodge in previous incarnation. IMG_2361

Posed with our guide Shashank – if you are going to Ranthambore let us know and we’ll put you in touch with him! You will enjoy him. IMG_2369The banyan tree is apparently the second largest in India!
