We arrived with our guide Shashank. This tree was filled with monkeys coming and going. Note the mom with twins in the tree – one was a live wire – hope you enjoy the video as much as Janyce did filming it!
The fort is not to be missed – it is approximately 1000 years old (give or take a couple of hundred). It has hindu temples, a Jain temple and a mosque and as above lots of Langurs

Who could stop oneself from buying dried chick peas to feed these wonderful creatures.

Inside the temple to Lord Shiva
We met our local family for the day.
This really was an amazing place – and good exercise!
Below the fort is the Jogi Mahal a hunting lodge in previous incarnation.
Posed with our guide Shashank – if you are going to Ranthambore let us know and we’ll put you in touch with him! You will enjoy him.
The banyan tree is apparently the second largest in India!
