Sawai Madhopur is a town just outside of one of the gates of Ranthambore National Park. Though not on our itinerary we could not resist stopping at this quirky and wonderful temple, the Kala Gaura Bhairav Temple, built into a hillside – complete with hidden passageways, many opportunities to leave offerings and prayers and of course an excellent tour by a self appointed tour guide. Not to be missed!
